Real Time Online Focus Groups

Our software enables people from all over the country (or from all over the world) to participate in a text-based conversation as if they were in the same room.  We know from experience that these groups are just as dynamic and interactive as regular groups - indeed, respondents can be more forthcoming in expressing a minority opinion than when they are face-to-face with other respondents.

We have the capacity to show still and audio / visual stimulus in real time, or - in the case of whole TV shows - to make content available for viewing or download prior to the group.

One key benefit - apart from convening geographically remote or hard-to-reach audiences - is the spontaneity and richness of the feedback: although we moderate groups in the usual way, no one has to wait for someone else to stop speaking before they respond. This makes the transcripts genuinely revealing.


Alpha Panel

After 13 years of talking to consumers of media brands we are pretty familiar with the refrain that there is a section of the target audience that never comes to focus groups. They are usually post-graduate professionals who – despite their reluctance to participate in conventional research – have strong and influential views on the media.

Our Alpha Panel has been carefully built using referrals and social network media to include only genuine Alpha respondents. We convene these respondents in two ways: either online as part of a bespoke panel in which they respond to respond to stimulus and carefully targeted questions, or face-to-face over dinner at an appealing venue.

Other agencies may claim to be able to reach this target market, but we challenge you to test the difference. This is the new gold standard in top-end research.


Blogs and Forums

A project doesn't have to end the moment the moderator leaves the building. If a client wishes, all respondents can be invited to continue the debate online for as long as the project is live, or longer.

Each project can be given its own password-protected page, individually branded and directly accessible by the client.

It can include key findings from the research, all final documents, audio or audio / visual material - in fact anything that will bring the research to life, at a single click.
